Customs Enforcement officials have foiled a major drug smuggling attempt in Kolpur, Kachhi district of Balochistan, seizing 10 kilograms of crystal meth valued at approximately Rs111.2 million. According to customs authorities, the narcotics were concealed in a cylinder-shaped secret compartment attached to the fuel tank of a tomato-laden Mazda truck. A case has been registered against those involved, and legal proceedings have begun. Customs officials reaffirmed that no attempt to undermine Pakistan’s economy or national security through smuggling will be tolerated, while law enforcement agencies pledged to continue anti-smuggling operations across Balochistan until narcotics trafficking is eliminated.
