Pakistan Wins 7 Medals and Best Under-16 Team Title at Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026
Pakistan Finishes Historic Campaign with 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze Medal in Almaty
Almaty, Kazakhstan – Pakistan concluded its historic campaign at the Asian Ju-Jitsu Championship 2026 with another outstanding performance on the final day, finishing the continental event with seven medals and earning the prestigious title of Best Under-16 Team of Asia.
In the Under-18 Fighting System (-85kg) category, Ebad ur Rehman displayed exceptional determination and technical excellence to defeat his Indian opponent and secure the Bronze Medal for Pakistan.
Pakistan also delivered an impressive performance in the Under-21 Duo Show System (Men), where Umer Yaseen and Ebad ur Rehman earned two Silver Medals, adding to the country’s remarkable medal tally.
Pakistan completed the championship with an outstanding overall performance:

During the medal and closing ceremony, Mr. Tariq Ali, Secretary General of the South Asian Ju-Jitsu Regional Association (SAJJRA) and Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation, along with Her Excellency Rizwana Qazi, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Embassy of Pakistan in Kazakhstan, attended the ceremony as Guests of Honour, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the Pakistan National Ju-Jitsu Team.
