Security forces have foiled a major terror attempt in Wana, Lower South Waziristan, through a timely intelligence-based operation. A vehicle packed with explosives, prepared for a possible suicide attack, was destroyed before it could be used against civilians. According to security sources, the vehicle was monitored for three days and was targeted only after being moved away from populated areas, ensuring the safety of local residents.
The operation resulted in the destruction of an explosive-laden vehicle and a motorcycle, while one terrorist was eliminated and five others were injured. The successful action highlights the professionalism and determination of security forces in protecting citizens and countering terrorism.
