Kuwait’s armed forces have confirmed that the country’s air defence systems intercepted and destroyed several hostile drones after they entered Kuwaiti airspace. The military said the response was triggered amid what it described as “Iranian aggression.”
Officials reported that a government facility in northern Kuwait and property belonging to a private company on Bubiyan Island suffered damage from falling drone debris and shrapnel. Despite the material losses, authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were recorded.
The military stated that security forces responded swiftly to the incident and continue to monitor the situation closely to safeguard the country’s airspace and critical infrastructure.
