ALIPUR: Allah Walay Foundation has completed a major rehabilitation initiative in Tehsil Alipur, helping families affected by the devastating 2025 floods rebuild their lives through housing and humanitarian assistance.
During and after the floods, the foundation established a temporary tent settlement for displaced families, providing emergency shelter, food supplies, and winter relief packages to those in need.
As part of its long-term recovery program, the foundation constructed 53 fully equipped houses and handed them over to deserving families. Each home includes essential facilities such as plastering, paint, electricity, washrooms, boundary walls, and access to water, ensuring safe and dignified living conditions.
In addition, 30 flood-damaged houses that had become uninhabitable were completely repaired and restored, allowing affected families to return to their homes.
According to the foundation, the rehabilitation projects were completed under the supervision of Allah Walay Foundation President Manzoor Ahmed Bhatti and Chairman Shahid Loon, with the aim of helping flood-hit communities regain stability and independence.
Country Head Rana Hassan said the foundation remains committed to serving vulnerable and disaster-affected communities without discrimination. He noted that the housing projects, food assistance, winter relief packages, and other welfare initiatives reflect the organization’s mission to support those in need, adding that similar humanitarian efforts will continue in the future.
Local residents praised the foundation’s contribution, describing the housing and relief initiatives as a timely and compassionate response that has restored hope and improved the lives of hundreds of flood-affected people in Alipur.
