The two-day Mango Festival 2026 was successfully organised at Fayyaz Park, Muzaffargarh, under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Usman Tahir Jappa.

The festival showcased the rich mango heritage of South Punjab, with premium varieties from Alipur, including White Chaunsa, Black Chaunsa, Anwar Ratol, Nawab Puri and Tota Pari, attracting a large number of visitors.

The festival featured well-managed security, parking, cleanliness and decorative arrangements, while Alipur’s mango stalls remained the centre of attraction. The achievement follows Alipur’s first position in the inaugural Mango Festival held in 2025.
