According to the CTD, the operation was launched following the receipt of credible intelligence about the presence of the militants in the area.
The department said a substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants during the operation.
Two CTD personnel were also injured during the intelligence-led action, according to the department. Further details about their condition were not immediately available.
The CTD said security forces, including police and counterterrorism personnel, remained committed to eliminating militants operating in Balochistan and maintaining peace and security in the province.
The operation underscores the ongoing counterterrorism efforts by law enforcement agencies to target suspected militant networks in the region.
