NOWSHERA: Torrential overnight rainfall has caused widespread urban flooding in Nowshera, inundating low-lying areas and forcing floodwater into homes, creating difficulties for residents.

Heavy downpours have left several neighborhoods submerged, while reports have also emerged of walls collapsing and houses sustaining damage due to the persistent rain.

In response, Rescue 1122 teams and district administration officials have established emergency camps along riverbanks as a precautionary measure and are closely monitoring the situation.

Authorities have urged residents, particularly those living in vulnerable areas, to remain alert and follow official safety advisories as rainfall continues.
