BATKHELA: An anti-encroachment operation was carried out in Batkhela Bazaar on the directives of the Federal Government and the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to remove illegal encroachments and improve public convenience.
During the operation, dozens of illegal encroachments, extended platforms (tharras), and other obstructions occupying public spaces were demolished.

The operation aimed to ensure smooth traffic flow, remove obstacles from roads and pedestrian pathways, and address the difficulties faced by the general public while shopping and commuting through the busy market.
The removal of illegal structures is expected to improve accessibility, reduce traffic congestion, and facilitate the movement of pedestrians and vehicles in Batkhela Bazaar.

The initiative reflects the government’s efforts to restore public spaces and maintain better traffic management and order in commercial areas.
