Barcelona continued their outstanding start to the 2026/27 LaLiga season with a convincing 3–0 victory over Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou on Saturday.

Barcelona needed just two minutes to break the deadlock. Anthony Gordon found the net with a deflected effort to score his first goal for the Catalan club and give the hosts an ideal start.
Barcelona continued to control possession and territory as Getafe struggled to create meaningful opportunities.
Gabriel Jesus Doubles the Advantage
The hosts extended their lead in the 30th minute through Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian, making his first start for Barcelona, finished off the opportunity to put his side 2–0 ahead before half-time.
Barcelona remained composed after the break, controlling the tempo and limiting Getafe’s attacking threat.
Koundé Seals Comfortable Victory
Barcelona added a third goal in the 73rd minute when Jules Koundé headed home a superb cross from Lamine Yamal.
The goal completed a comfortable 3–0 victory and gave Barcelona another clean sheet.
Barcelona Maintain Perfect Record
The victory takes Barcelona to 24 points from 24 possible, with eight wins from eight league matches. The result also strengthens their position at the top of the standings as they prepare for a demanding run of fixtures.
Barcelona will now turn their attention to their upcoming Champions League match against Galatasaray, followed by league and European challenges before the highly anticipated El Clásico against Real Madrid later this month.
For Getafe, the defeat ends a difficult evening against a Barcelona side that once again demonstrated why they are among the leading contenders for the LaLiga title.
