QUETTA / BASIMA: Security forces conducted a successful Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in Balochistan, killing two terrorists and injuring three others during a high-stakes encounter, security sources revealed.
Acting on credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants, security forces targeted a terrorist hideout located between Kli Zaik and Kaghli, approximately 12 kilometers north of the Basima Camp. As the forces approached, an intense exchange of fire ensued, leading to the neutralization of two militants.

According to security sources, one of the deceased terrorists has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, alias Koh Yar.
During the search operation, security forces recovered a significant cache of arms and equipment from the hideout, including ammunition, magazines, hand grenades, and materials used for manufacturing Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
Security sources emphasized that operations against terrorist networks will continue relentlessly until terrorism is completely eradicated and lasting peace is restored across Balochistan.
