Islamabad, August 6: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will begin a three-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from August 6 to August 8. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and expand strategic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will meet senior Saudi leaders to discuss matters of mutual interest. The talks are expected to focus on trade, investment, energy, defence, regional security, and economic cooperation.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a long-standing relationship built on mutual respect, friendship, and close economic ties. Both countries continue to work together on regional and international issues while promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development.

A key objective of the visit is to enhance economic collaboration. Pakistan hopes to attract more Saudi investment in sectors such as mining, infrastructure, renewable energy, agriculture, and information technology. Increased investment is expected to support Pakistan’s economic growth and create new opportunities for development.

The two sides are also expected to review the progress of existing agreements and explore new initiatives to strengthen cooperation. Discussions may include expanding trade, improving business partnerships, and encouraging joint ventures between the public and private sectors.

The visit will also highlight the strong people-to-people relationship between the two countries. Millions of Pakistanis living and working in Saudi Arabia continue to contribute significantly to both economies and help strengthen bilateral ties.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit reflects Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Saudi Arabia. The discussions are expected to further enhance political cooperation, boost economic relations, and reinforce the strong friendship between the two nations.
