DAMBULLA: Pakistan Women’s T20I captain Muneeba Ali has expressed confidence ahead of the T20 International series against Sri Lanka, saying the team is determined to finish the tour on a winning note.
Speaking ahead of the series in Dambulla, Muneeba said Pakistan is fully prepared to compete strongly and is aiming to secure the series victory through disciplined performances.
“It is always an honour to lead Pakistan,” she said, adding that one of her key priorities as captain is to develop young talent while delivering positive results for the national team.
Muneeba noted that the T20I squad includes several promising young players, describing the upcoming series as a valuable opportunity for them to test their skills against quality international opposition.
She also acknowledged Sri Lanka’s ability to stage comebacks in challenging situations, emphasizing that Pakistan respects its opponents and will enter the series with thorough preparation and a clear game plan.
The Pakistan captain expressed optimism that the team’s planning, commitment, and blend of youth and experience will help deliver a successful campaign in Dambulla.
