Barcelona produced another statement performance in LaLiga, cruising to a 5-0 victory over Valencia at Mestalla on Sunday to maintain their perfect start to the season.
The result keeps Barcelona at the top of the table with 12 points from four matches, while their attacking form continues to impress under Hansi Flick.
Lamine Yamal Leads Barcelona’s Attack
Once again, Lamine Yamal was at the center of Barcelona’s attacking display.

His second goal arrived in the closing stages after Dani Olmo created the opportunity, completing another outstanding individual performance.
Fermín López Makes His Mark
While Yamal grabbed the headlines, Fermín López was arguably just as important to Barcelona’s dominant display.
The midfielder scored Barcelona’s second goal in the 22nd minute and also provided two assists, playing a major role in the team’s attacking movement.
Fermín’s combination with Yamal was particularly effective. His pass created the opening goal, while he was also involved in the build-up to Raphinha’s second-half strike.
His performance continues a strong start to the campaign and highlights the growing depth available to Flick in attacking midfield.
Injury Concern for Eric García
The only major concern for Barcelona came in defense.
Eric García was forced off during the first half after suffering a broken nose following a collision with teammate Rodri. He was replaced by Jules Koundé, with Barcelona maintaining control despite the setback.
The injury will now be monitored by Barcelona’s medical staff, with the club expected to provide further information on García’s condition.
Despite the early defensive change, Barcelona continued to dominate and eventually completed one of their most convincing victories of the young season.

The only concern from an otherwise perfect night is the injury to Eric García, but on the evidence of their performance at Mestalla, Barcelona remain in formidable form.
