Islamabad: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, spoke by telephone with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday to discuss important regional and international developments.

According to Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both leaders reviewed the evolving regional situation. They also exchanged views on the worsening conditions in Occupied East Jerusalem and emphasized the importance of staying in close diplomatic contact.

During the call, Senator Ishaq Dar invited Foreign Minister Araghchi to visit Pakistan at the earliest opportunity. The invitation reflects Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties and maintaining regular engagement with Iran on issues of mutual interest.

The discussion comes as regional tensions continue to draw international attention, with both countries highlighting the need for dialogue and cooperation to address shared challenges.
