Four suspected militants were killed and several others sustained injuries during a joint operation by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Matta area of Swat, according to security sources.

According to officials, four militants remain inside a residential building. Authorities said the suspects are allegedly using members of the household as human shields, making the operation more challenging and increasing the risk to innocent civilians.
