RIYADH: Pakistan has officially signed an agreement to participate in Expo 2030 Riyadh, marking the beginning of preparations for the country’s presence at the major international exhibition in the Saudi capital.
The agreement was signed at a ceremony in Riyadh by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmad Farooq, and Expo 2030 Riyadh CEO Engineer Talal Al-Marri.
Under the agreement, Pakistan will establish its national pavilion in the exhibition’s designated Culture District, where it plans to showcase the country’s rich cultural heritage, tourism potential, trade opportunities and future ambitions.
Pakistan’s participation is expected to provide an international platform to highlight its cultural diversity and economic potential while strengthening engagement with countries from around the world.
The pavilion will also aim to promote investment opportunities and build stronger economic and commercial ties with participating countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, which Pakistan considers a close and important partner.
The signing of the agreement marks a significant step towards Pakistan’s preparations for Expo 2030 Riyadh, where the country will seek to present its identity, development priorities and opportunities to a global audience.
