ISLAMABAD, August 4: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has departed for a one-day official visit to Amman, Jordan. He will attend the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem, which is scheduled for August 5.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Senator Dar will reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause. He will also reiterate Pakistan’s principled position on the Palestinian issue and call for the protection of Palestinian rights.
During the visit, Senator Dar is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several participating foreign ministers. The discussions will cover regional and international developments. They will also focus on issues of mutual interest and ways to strengthen diplomatic cooperation.

The visit highlights Pakistan’s continued engagement with international partners on the situation in Jerusalem. It also reflects the country’s longstanding commitment to supporting a just, peaceful, and lasting resolution of the Palestinian issue.
