ERBA, Italy: The Euro-Asia Business Summit was held in Erba, near Como, Italy, bringing together business leaders, industrialists and investors from Pakistan, Italy and Switzerland to explore opportunities for trade, investment and cross-border business cooperation.

The summit was organised by the ITA Pak Business Investment Forum in collaboration with Dubai-based company Masawir AI. Participants discussed ways to strengthen economic ties and encourage investment partnerships among the three countries.

Member of the National Assembly Romina Khurshid Alam also addressed the event through a video link, highlighting the importance of international engagement and cooperation in promoting Pakistan’s economic and investment potential.

Forum Chairman Muhammad Usman and other speakers identified Pakistan’s young workforce and developing economy as significant opportunities for international investors. They also highlighted the complementary strengths of Italy and Switzerland in design, engineering and industrial manufacturing.

The discussions focused on building business connections, encouraging investment and creating opportunities for collaboration across industries, with Pakistan positioned as a potential destination for international business partnerships.

According to the organisers, further events are planned in Islamabad, Dubai and Saudi Arabia to expand the initiative’s outreach and strengthen links between business communities.

The organisers are also planning a major conference and exhibition in Pakistan in 2027, aimed at bringing together investors, entrepreneurs and industry representatives to explore new avenues for economic cooperation and investment.

The summit reflects ongoing efforts to connect Pakistani businesses with international markets and promote investment opportunities through business-to-business engagement and cross-border partnerships.
