NDMA has issued a 72-hour flood alert for northern Pakistan, warning of heavy rain, flash floods, landslides and rising river levels.

Heavy monsoon rains caused landslides across northern Pakistan, damaging major highways and disrupting transportation in several mountainous regions. Authorities are working to clear blocked roads while warning residents and travelers to remain alert as more rainfall is expected in the coming days.
