A joint Operation Shaban by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and Police is ongoing. Security forces continue effective operations against Fitna al-Khawarij militants in the area, according to security sources.
The forces are targeting militants through coordinated air and ground operations, security sources said.
During the latest operations, five more militants were killed, according to security sources.
The total number of militants killed during Operation Shaban has now reached 76, security sources said.
Since *5 July, a total of *114 Fitna al-Khawarij militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations, according to security sources.Operation Shaban will continue across Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated, security sources said.
